Click Download Layer Button
Once you find the desired dataset, click the Download Layer button. A preview of the data with a file type selector will appear.
Select File Type
In the popup, choose the file type for your download. Click the Start Download button to begin the download job on the Galileo servers.
Supported File Types:
- CSV
- GeoJSON
- ESRI Shapefile
- KML
- GPKG
For a detailed explanation of these file types and many more, see our guide to GIS file types.
Downloads Page
After initiating the download, you will be redirected to the Downloads page in the Galileo application. Here, you can monitor the status of your downloads and access the files once they are ready.
Note: Currently Galileo only supports Feature Layer downloads. We are currently aware of some issues with very large datasets. We have implemented some fixes but sometimes there are still errors. If you run into issues please send us a message in our community Discord.
